Anything with the term 'death threat' in it will definitely grab your attention and this one is no exception. But the first thing I noticed here, apart from the interesting title, is that it's a very nicely designed e-book. Images are inserted in each page and I think they really help in breaking the visual monotony of having to look at page after page of pure text. I love the layout and I like how the content is very well-organized. It very clearly explains some of the biggest problems that give major headaches to webmasters and programmers. I would have to say this e-book is almost perfect, because of the good content, but it still has some grammatical errors here and there.
A favorable point: master resell, redistribution, and giveaway rights come with this e-book. Overall, this is a great product to have on hand if you're maintaining websites and servers.

Helpful in overcoming website threats, September 17, 2007
In this e-book, Manny Jao II shows just how serious some threats to websites can be. In the introduction, he explains how these threats can greatly affect your website’s reputation and subsequently, your sales.
He explains each threat in detail by giving its symptoms, causes, effects, and how to deal with them or prevent them, from the common threats of server downtimes and timeouts and worms and viruses to the more complicated threats like hacking and fraud and deception on the part of your web hosting company. Jao also shows how your inexperience can make you more vulnerable to threats and problems for your website.
The e-book is easy to read and its layout is easy on the eyes, with photos illustrating each threat to give the reader’s eyes a break from all the text.
All in all, this e-book is concise, informative and reader-friendly. This is a good read for all those who want to protect their websites.

I found that this e-book expanded my general knowledge on these issues. Even if I consider myself someone who knows much about the Internet and how it works, this e-book contained more than the usual information available. I actually finally understood what a DOS attack is, and what constitutes a server attack. I was also reminded not to delete certain scripts in the host. I had remembered how I had deleted hundreds of files in my former Windows ME system, which consequently became rendered inoperable. Thus I re-realized that I really shouldn’t be tampering with files I don’t understand.
On the whole, the chapters are brief and readable, and they contain attractive graphics that enhance the reader’s experience. They are actually just decorative symbolisms or characterizations of the topic, but I like them anyhow.
This is one excellent resource that you or I shouldn’t do without, and I truly recommend this!
