Adwords Power Tips By Tom OBrian
For good strategizing, February 10, 2008
This book is recommended for those already playing the Google AdWords game or are at least know the basics of using Google AdWords. Tim O’Brien gives extensive and comprehensive advice on the subject matter. In fact, when it comes to AdWords campaign strategy, I would say this is the most informative and useful book I have seen so far. O’Brien also helps you assess if indeed your strategy is working. He indeed sounds like a Google Ad Professional, as the introduction claims.
There is also some unconventional though worth considering advice here – such as purposely using your ads with low click-through rates and using misspellings in your keywords to ensure that people who misspell the search term still find you. He also shows the advantage of using many adgroups versus using only a single adgroup.
There are also illustrations where needed. The explanation and illustration on the proper use of primary, secondary and tertiary keywords is particularly useful.
