A very clear step by step guideline for marketing your craft products. This book talks about submissions, selling rights, self publishing and much more. I found this information very useful and it explains some trails and error which may save you time and trouble. There are also some nice bonuses.

Profitable Crafts Vol. 2 By Maria Vowell
, July 23, 2007
Reviewer: Lynn Lopez
This is the second volume of the series, and it's just as effective and well-written as the first. Take note: inlike the first volume, this e-book is not going to be a source of designs for your crafts business. Rather, this focuses more on selecting your products, how to approach a store for consignment, and how to promote your work, among other things. It really reads like a great guide on how to run your business and the author offers up plenty of examples from her own experiences with her business as well. A lot of the tips generally have to do with crafts-based products, but you can still pretty much rely on them for your own products because a lot of them are relevant to how you can handle your own merchandise. An excellent read all in all, and it's also really helpful if you want to know how to push your products offline too.

Profitable Crafts Vol. 2 By Maria Vowell
A must-read for those into crafts, January 27, 2008
Maria Vowell once again gives readers engaging and valuable information through this book. Like volume one of Profitable Crafts, this one is a winner. This time, she gives strategies about how to sell and advertise your craft products and projects. Again, she gives valuable advice with a personal touch. Her experiences in crafts are worth learning from. The way she shares them are quite entertaining as well – I especially like the anecdote about the lady with the really hard sales pitch.
Among the information I find most valuable here are the “few helpful tips” on getting your products to stores and protecting the copyrights of your products. I believe this is very important information all crafters should know. Vowell’s experience and advice on self-publishing your craft designs are also helpful. At the end of the day, Vowell’s experiences are really what make this book one of a kind. Again, Vowell shows just how profitable crafts can be.
