This eBook was easy to read and had some nice links to go to. I think anyone who has done a few shows will find a lot of the information was very basic and are common sense issues. Some of the patterns seemed outdated and very old fashion and then there are some really fun things that I could see selling well. I did get some information I will use and the soaps and bath salts are great.

Like I've said in the past, I'm not interested in crafts in any way, but this was a pretty engaging read. It contains a lot of tips on the kinds of things you can make, but that's not all you'll find in this e-book. It was a rather long introduction, one that discusses a whole lot about coming up with products, running a business, how to package and sell your items, etc. that you'll find them relevant to you as well no matter what kind of business you're trying to start up. Quite possibly, even if you yourself aren't into crafts, you'll find the first part engaging as well and easy to relate to. You might not want to grab this product for yourself though, if you don't have a business or site catering to that particular niche, but it still makes for nice reading. Sure to be a big help for hobbyists and people launching a business in this field.

Crafts indeed look profitable and enjoyable, December 31, 2007
This e-book is a very informative and entertaining read. Though I am not a crafter myself, I enjoyed it immensely. Maria Vowell clearly loves what she is doing and is very enthusiastic and effective in sharing it with others. Her advice and stories are always personal and interesting, never boring. I would certainly remember her words even though I do not plan to go into crafts.
She covers everything basic and relevant about the crafts business – from creating to selling, and of course, the art of dealing with all kinds of customers. She freely shares all her learnings from her experiences. She seems genuinely interested to help others succeed in the crafts business.
I just wish, though, that all photos of the ten patterns she gave here are in full color – that would make them more appealing interesting. Also, some of the instructions could have been accompanied by illustrations to make things easier for those who would like to do the pattern. Other than those small details, though, this e-book is a very good read.
