Press Release Principles By Andy Machin
Very Good Idea, March 16, 2007
I have done this with articles but not with press releases. Great idea with proof. Got the mind working and sprit fired up. Glad that is has Master Resale Rights as it will be a companion sale for another ebook that I wrote.
His site is still at #1 on Google.
My only suggestion is that he writes an ebook of his own on the subject to give a 3rd income stream!

Mostly info on using press releases for site promotion, March 28, 2007

Just a note: it recommends that you carefully check your press release first for any typos, but this e-book itself also quite a number of typos. The author needs to go over this again and re-release it.
The book is called Press Release Principles, but it doesn't really say anything more about HOW to write press releases. It only gives basic tips and mostly focuses on how press releases can help your website.
But I have to say this e-book actually elicited my interest. I've been looking for a way to promote some sites via press releases and while I haven't implemented any of these tips yet, the guide still gave me some ideas on how to go about it. I'm not entirely sure if press release sites really do accept press releases for all sorts of websites, so I'm kind of hesitating at the moment, but if I do go for it, I'll definitely be consulting the short e-book. The e-book package also comes with a press release template you can use and a quick HTML guide, by the way.
The tips seem simple enough to follow. I guess what would really be a good measure of this e-book's effectiveness is if everyone tried this out and achieved the same level of success.

Press Release writing is an Internet Marketing niche that is not as oft-explored as other niches. This e-book, all the sixteen sweet, short pages of it, has put forth an instructional on how to create press releases. These instructions are pretty easy to follow, and would encourage the first-time press release writer.
While the task of writing the press release itself may be daunting to the uninitiated, this e-book makes the process seem a lot easier. It walks the reader through how to create a press release in a manner that is welcoming to the aspiring entrepreneur. It is brief, concise, and easy to digest.
But what impressed me most was the bonus. There is a bonus PDF on how to create webpages. While the rest of the world is intimidated with the thought of creating an HTML webpage, the bonus PDF lets the reader realize that creating a webpage, even from code, is pretty simple after all.
If you are testing the waters of the Internet’s potential moneymaking power, this is a good place to start.
My only gripes: too simple cover graphic. But the clean lines and good organization, plus the very helpful content more than make up for it.
