It is a pleasure to read this book. The links work, the advice is sound, the game plan is detailed well enough to follow and KNOW you are on target.
Not only does Simon tell you what to do, but explains how to go about it. For example, giving your work a new title can make the sales jump. Yes, that is good advice, and that is where most books dump you. Simon goes on to explain HOW you should change the title.
Another tip, one I'd never thought of before, is to use QUOTES, from famous people. One thing I collect are quotes and I also have hundreds of my own that are being used. When Simon explained how using quotes could improve value of PLR products my mind clicked with an implementation I can use in my own material.
Another thing Simon explains is the use of GOOD graphics. I've had rave reviews from the graphics I've added to my products so I know the principle is true. Simon goes on and reveals sources of good graphics and gives you ideas on using the finished products in your PLR.
The section on using affiliates to help you break into the big money has great depth to it so that you actually learn exciting new applications here.
Section, after helpful section make this a great product. Even if you write your own material and never touch PLR, I recommend you read this book and use the ideas herein to improve your moneymaking potential.

This e-book gives you the basics of using Private Label Rights and turning it into your very own cash cow. While it is certainly informative, I just do not like the mess of the different emphasis styles: bold, underline, italics, generously sprinkled everywhere on the pages of this e-book. There is no method to the emphases, and the general visual mess had turned me off.
Yet the one great truth that this e-book has that encompasses everything you need to know about PLR is this: “Sometimes the only thing that separates a HOT product and a dud is the title.” This is one truth in real-world marketing, advertising, and in the principles of branding that is absolutely true in the Internet Marketing world. Translated, it only means that it is only excellent branding that spells the difference between a success and failure in Internet Marketing and elsewhere.
But really, there’s nothing voodoo-ish about this, save for the cover. :p
And I was really surprised when I learned this was from Simon Hodgkinson. I was used to how excellent his stuff were. And I'm totally weirded out that this one was not up to par.

I don't know, it could simply be that I'm just keen on getting into PLR right now, which may be why I found this e-book especially intriguing. But then again, it's also because this e-book sets you straight about PLR and really explains the whole process and what you need to look for. If you yourself are also interested in learning more about private label rights, then this e-book will have all the information you need, giving you the differences between master resell rights and PLR as well as resell rights. I also love how this provides tips for you to use when making some changes to the PLR products you currently have, and how you can turn them into really hot-selling items. This is truly a great and inspiring read that can help you make the most out of private label rights. Make sure to check out the other links and resources as well.

Good PLR advice, November 11, 2007
This e-book is not just about private label rights – it goes a step further by making PLR only as a starting point for making more money. I especially appreciate the author’s advice in using PLR for a membership site and how specifically to keep the membership site up and running.
I totally agree with the author here that the title of the book is crucial – it can make or break your sales. For the people who may doubt this, I am glad the author gave real-life examples on how a simple title change turned sales around. The author himself used an interesting title for the e-book. My only nitpick regarding that title is that it was not linked to the actual content even as a short, simple analogy.
I also like the author’s emphasis on soft selling over blatant advertising as this is a point some Internet marketers take for granted. Blatant advertising can indeed hurt your sales instead of helping them.
The writing style is also flows and conversational. Though the author did not make much use of subheads or breaks, one paragraph usually flows easily to the next.
All in all, this is a very informative e-book.
