Looking at the titles of each dish or snack alone will surely put a smile on your face, as well as the face of any child once he or she finds out the name of each dish! The table of contents lets you know right off the bat that this is indeed a source of wacky food ideas for children, with items like "Chopped Off Fingers Pizza", "Toasted Tongues", and "Ants In The Sand". Granted, it may turn the stomachs of people who are too easily made queasy, but kids with a sense of humor will go wild for them. The recipes are all easy to follow and based on most of the steps, they really encourage the cook and the children to get really creative. This is a great product if you have a cooking and recipe website, a site for moms, or one focusing on family activities. This is even perfect if you're stuck for ideas on how to feed and entertain kids at the same time.

Kids will love this!, September 18, 2007
These recipes look fun and easy. The recipe titles themselves would surely catch a kid’s interest – which kid would not be curious about what chocolate spiders, peanut butter caterpillars and dirt cups look and taste like? And as some kids love messy – sometimes gross things – recipes like boogers on a stick, hairball salad with saliva dressing and tortured tomatoes with bird dropping dressing would surely make their day.
As the author claims, cooking these recipes here with your kids can indeed be a good way to spend quality time with them. Some recipes also contain detailed instructions on what you should do and what you should let your kid do. It would be more helpful, though, if all recipes are phrased like this.
The layout has just some problem as the recipe title usually ends up at the bottom of the page while the recipe is at the next page. Also, photos would dress up the PDF e-book nicely and will pique kids’ interest more to try the recipes.

the recipes are going to appeal to kids -- just the outrageous sort of thing that is healthy fun. The formatting of the book and graphics are very good.
