The disclaimer says this e-book is based on the first-hand knowledge and experience of the author, so I suppose that means the author himself is a self-proclaimed nice guy? If the nice, good, and shy guys out there read this, try out the tips, and discover that they do work after all, someone should think about giving the author a medal or something :)
I don't think I have ever read any relationship book/e-book targeting men so I don't know how they usually go, but I have to say this was an interesting read on the subject, and is definitely not cocky, just encouraging. This package comes with two more e-books on dating and relationships, both a couple of pretty engaging materials as well. In general, this is a sufficient source about dating, and even if it doesn't help you, they're good enough e-books for you to pore over on a slow day.

Chivalrous behavior isn’t dead. It is nice to see how a man views a relationship with a woman and shows her respect. It may be the times we live in but I was taken back a little by the respect and insight this author has of women and how to cultivate a good relationship. There is also information on relationships, dating, and much more on other sites that is well worth reading. If at the beginning of this book you are kind of skeptical, read through the closing thoughts are great.

Good men – and women – may like this, September 06, 2007
This e-book may just prompt the shy, nice guys to finally take action. Shawn Nelson writes in a conversational tone, giving advice based on firsthand experience. He assures the reader that it’s not all hard and complicated but actually easy to approach women and start a friendship which may lead to a relationship. He also gives specific advice on how to approach women, how to start a conversation, how to keep it flowing and more. It also gives the assurance that though women may initially fall for the “bad guy,” they eventually look for the good guy.
The companion books and reports here are also interesting.
The book on untrained men here, though interesting, can be questioned in some points. Yes, it is based on an old manuscript, but some parts may make a woman raise her eyebrow. For example, why the “untrained” man? It implies that men should be trained, like pets. How about something like “unlearned?” And, is it really the women’s responsibility to “train” men? In this e-book, it implies that yes, it is.
The compilation of reports here on dating here by different authors may also be useful reads for both men and women, from the basic flirting tips for both sexes to how to kiss on a first date and overcoming the fear of approaching women, and more.
