OK, a lot of what's in the book is stuff we've heard before. But, the author makes most of the book more than just a set of lists.
Instead of just saying use this service to increase traffic, he gives some suggestions of ways to use it. Instead of telling you not to give visitors too many chances to leave your site, he gives examples of specific places where you're likely to lose the visitor. So, you can fix it.
Even for the veteran, there will probably be a few tips, or services you might not know about. I know there's a few I'm going to check out.
This is a book that you will have no regrets putting on your site to sell. Most people will find it useful.

This is honestly an impressive e-book. I know I had reviewed a couple of Simon Hodgkinson products before, and when I checked, I did a negative review on one, and rave reviews on others. I’d say, this one belongs to the rave reviews.
This book is not only aesthetically pleasing and well-organized, it is also packed with comprehensive and crucial information. Just a scan alone through the table of contents will entice you to read more.
Prepare an afternoon off to immerse yourself in the strategies in this e-book, because you will want to absorb every word of it. As I said, the topics here are comprehensive. This e-book covers a wide range of website traffic-generation strategies from Squidoo to StumbleUpon.

I must say first of all that I like the extra links provided here, which are useful tools for any website owner to have for their operations. This reads more like a guide for newbies, what with introductions to SEO and the like, which any veteran site owners would already be aware of at this point, so you're lucky to get this one if you're a newbie. You'll get plenty of information on how to make sure that search engines crawl your site, how you can track your visitors, and what you can do to make sure that those visitors just keep coming back to your site. Be sure to keep the traffic-building tips in mind; they'll come in handy. All in all, I think this really is a pretty good report, although I have to admit that it doesn't say a lot of new things. Disregarding that fact, then I think anyone can comfortably turn to this for information.
