The best diabetic cookbook I’ve seen. This book is filled with a plethora of recipes, it has soups, desserts, sauces and much more. Not all the recipes have nutritional information or exchanges listed, but this is a small annoyance. It’s difficult to come up with different and fun taste treats when you have diabetes. This cookbook will help you serve a delicious meal with dessert.

What's in this package: the PDF version of the e-book, the Microsoft Word document you can customize, and the sales page and pictures. It's already quite complete, I daresay, so if you're planning on grabbing this product and reselling it, you wouldn't have to go through the headache just to make this product yours. The sales page is pretty cute, with the basic kind of layout, but with a fresh overall appearance, thanks to the colors. The recipes themselves, meanwhile, are just numerous. You'll get an idea just how many there are here by scrolling through the table of contents. It's also nice how this doesn't just include desserts, but also regular dishes. A good recipe collection plus all the materials you need? That's a solid formula for a great product. This one is definitely worth your while and it would be really perfect for both health and cooking websites.

Everything for the diabetic’s enjoyment, October 27, 2007
This e-book shows that being a diabetic does not mean totally sacrificing pleasure and enjoyment in eating. Containing more than 500 recipes, it has recipes for soups, salads, main courses and of course, desserts!
The recipes have clear, easy to follow instructions. Also helpful here is that some recipes show their equivalent in traditional recipes – for example, the tuna salad here “exchanges” two low-fat meat. A few even show the number of calories. For consistency and for more information for the reader, this should be done for all recipes. Also, sometimes the recipes do not specify the exact sugar substitute. For clarity and ease on the part of the reader, the sugar substitute should always be specified.
With so many recipes here in this e-book, it may be difficult for the reader to look for a specific one. The recipes here could have been arranged by type and by subtype (i.e., soup, salad, entrée and dessert for type and cake, pie, cookies for dessert subtype).
All in all, though, this e-book is a must for diabetics who want to “manage” their pleasure in eating.

comprehensive recipe list!, November 27, 2007

Two hundred and twenty-four pages of pure, reduced sugar goodness, this is what this e-book has. It has so many recipes, that the first recipe actually starts on page 15. Imagine that. My dad is a diabetic, and I have crazy blood sugar levels myself, so finding this e-book in here is really a blessing.
I scrolled down the pages and what I found was gem after gem of diabetic cooking goodness. On the last page is something I would definitely try sometime. I love soups, and I especially love potato-based soups. The last page really a discovery for me, as the notion of using nutmeg in soups has never occurred to me. At least not yet, until this e-book.
From Apple Cinnamon oatmeal to sugar-free slushies to cakes, granola, no bake fruit cakes, spaghetti sauce, chocolate syrup, barbecue sauce, you name it, it’s there. I even thought I wouldn’t see a steak, but it’s there!
Truly your complete resource to Diabetic Cooking!
(I didn’t even mind the not-so-slick layout anymore, haha!)
