Yes, this is yet another Larry Dotson work that jumps directly into the topic and doesn't bother with long introductions and promotional text. That detail really makes his e-books stand out, apart from the brevity of each text and the bite-sized tidbits. This has a lot of good tips on how you can pull in buyers for your products using some copywriting tricks. It won't write your ads for you, but it will just help you come up with ideas to attract people. Once you've looked at all 100 tips contained here, however, you will notice that it's not just all about optimizing your advertising copy, but pretty much about making sure everything on your website, from your graphics to the colors to what kinds of offers and freebies you should be making, does a good job of advertising, so the title can be a bit misleading. Still a good resource, and can do with more detailed supplemental material.

This book is well described by it’s title, there are some amazing advertising tips. This book is short, sweet, and to the point. A great book for new ideas and tips, also a good reference to update or refresh some stagnant areas in your advertising.

Copywriting Gems By Larry Dotson
Smart marketing tips, August 19, 2007
This e-book offers nuggets of useful, practical advice in copywriting. Through 100 concise but information-packed tips, it teaches the reader to write copy that will make the customer buy once – and again. Specific tips on how to make the customer feel important (e.g. personalizing the offer, etc.), how to give incentives (particularly earning money) to potential customers, and how to build your product’s attractiveness and credibility, are only among some of the points included in the e-book.
The e-book not only gives tips in writing copy but in marketing in general. Even the look of the website, including color themes and layout, is discussed here. It also touches on the use of certain tools like message boards to market your product.
To make the e-book more readable, though, and to help the reader remember the key points here, I would suggest highlighting the keywords or key phrases in each tip.
