Buying Triggers By Larry Dotson
Some triggers you probably know already, August 27, 2007
This is a quick summary of marketing strategies, most of which are already discussed in other e-books. Even so, this e-book can serve as a companion to more intensive, detailed marketing books or simply a quick reminder on what to do and what not to do in Internet marketing.
The author, Larry Dotson, gives 100 strategies – from enticing the customer to buy to building your credibility. As I noticed themes here, I suggest the tips to be grouped to make them more organized. For example, one section could be about appealing to your customer’s senses and emotions, while another could be about the right design and layout of your website.
Dotson offers tips on what seems to be all aspects of marketing. He shows how to put customers in the right mood to buy, how you can leverage by building partnerships with other businesses and how a partnership with a reputable business can build credibility with your customers, and others more.
All in all, this is a brief but useful read.

Buying Triggers By Larry Dotson
I think this could work.., November 29, 2007
Reviewer: Lorie Therese Locara
I have never gotten the hang of and the taste for Larry Dotson e-books, but I must say that the suggestions that he puts forth in this e-book are very useful for sales. I could tell, because as I read what he’s saying I could imagine myself clicking the button to subscribe or to bring the item to the shopping cart checkout!
If you can stand disjointed, random tips that you have to categorize yourself, then by all means download this. Just because it’s not one cohesive flow does not mean that this e-book is any less valuable. I may not believe in Larry Dotson’s style, but I sure believe that his suggestions/advice are all sensible.
My suggestion, to make the most out of this, is to copy your favorites of what he’s saying into post-its or little pieces of paper then post them all over your office or wherever it is that you work. If you’re single and you live alone and the bathroom doubles as your “thinking throne,” you can also post it all over the tiles. Mull over the principles as you do other things, and they will soon become part of your strategies!
Make sure that you make a logical, sensible strategic plan; the elements of which should work in synergy.
