| | | Product Reviewed: 8 Common Bum Marketing Mistakes, and How To Avoid Them | | By: Arindam Chakraborty | | Category: Free Downloads - All Members | | Review Title: Sharply delivered | | Date Reviewed: October 26, 2007 | | Reviewer: Claire Madarang |
In frank, no-nonsense fashion, Arindam Chakraborty tells you about the common mistakes in bum marketing even experts or old-timers make. She discusses traditional business strategies like not putting all your eggs in one basket and dares to offer a different viewpoint from that of conventional marketing strategies like affiliate marketing and blogging.
She discusses the difference between big, one-time income with regular passive income and how you can achieve the latter. In different words, she also asks the crucial question for those seeking financial freedom: Are you building your own assets or someone else’s assets? She then shows how you can build your OWN assets.
She promotes her product here but I think it forgivable as she puts it in strategic places that are not distracting or annoying. My only nitpick is the grammatical errors in this e-book that could have been absent with just a little proofreading. Overall, though, this is a very good read for Internet entrepreneurs, beginners and old-timers alike.

| | Comment By: Sami Fab | Comment Date: November 11, 2007 | There is absolutely nothing wrong with him promoting his own product.
Firstly it is a free and giveaway product. How else is he going to get a reward for his writing?
Secondly, self promotion is a major part of wrting books and reports even when the product is being sold in the case of PRL and Resell Rights and Master Resell Rights. In those cases, the author is getting paid and yet any astutue marketer rightly include their own promotions in the product.
So in the case of a give-away, self promotion is even more legitimate and the only motivation to produce material, especially good quality material.
Nobody owes us a living or free material. There has to be something in it for the writer too.
