| | | Product Reviewed: Ties That Bind: Stories Of Marriages That Worked And How We Can Learn From Them | | Category: Ebooks - Silver & Gold Members | | Review Title: A practical, engaging and well-written e-book | | Date Reviewed: November 05, 2006 | | Reviewer: Martin Aranovitch | This is a practical, engaging and well-written 60-page ebook that is divided into three main sections:
In Chapter 1, the book looks at a modern and practical definition of marriage and then presents several brief case studies to illustrate its points. This is good, because rather than being a technical book, it engages the reader and helps people who are going through similar situations to identify.
In Chapter 2, the book lists 5 key ingredients for making a marriage work, and then examines each of these factors in more detail.
In Chapter 3, the book looks at common marital problems and how to deal with them in a kind of "Dear Abby" fashion, i.e. readers bring up a problem that they are experiencing and the author responds in a way designed to give more clarity to possible solutions.
Overall I found this to be a good ebook which can be sold on its own, or used as a bonus in any website dealing with relationships & marriage topics. | |
