Helping Your Children Lose Weight
If you want to help your teenage children to lose weight, here are a few tips that may prove helpful for you:
1. Make losing weight a family affair.
Rather than just concentrating on your teen, try to adopt healthy habits as a family. Eating healthier foods at home and getting more exercise is good for the whole family, not just teens.
Try to encourage family members to eat more fresh fruits,fresh vegtables and whole grains foods, cut out red meats and bring in healthier white meat such as chicken, turkey, cook all their meals in a steamer as it's much healthier way to cook, steaming or grilling gets rid of a lot of unwanted fat.

2.Allow occasional treats as a break from the usual.

You can also opt for ordering a shared snack instead of a full-size order to lessen the portions. To start Teens should not go on any diet with out consulting thier doctor first, the reason is that teens are still growing, thier body is still developing and dieting will cause unforseen problems in thier body growth.
Healthier Eating Guide For Teens:
The speed at which most families live today it's not supprising that teens are over weight, ( 25% US & UK ) it's easy to see why when there is so many fast food joints out there, so whats the solution.
Education , you have to teach your teens on how to read food lables, better still, pack them a healthier lunch box in stead of useing fast food out lets at lunch times.
Stop them drinking to much pop, cola's, soda's etc, do you know that it's recomended that all of us should drink up to eight glasses of water perday?
Stop them watching to much TV, Playing computer games and generally lazing about after school, join them in some out door games or exercise, all forms of sport are good for exercising, swimming is one of the best.

- Cut down on salt when cooking for them.

Put two inches of water in your steamer or what is recomended by the makers, place a chicken with half a lemon on the first layer, put on your heat source, gas, eletric.

Doing aerobics or other types of workouts is a great way to make sure you are healthy and fit. Aerobics not only helps you to be healthy, but gives you a chance to be more upbeat, in better moods and live longer as well.
Aerobics are all round good activities for you.
Sometimes, though, no matter how good an activity might be for our whole body, we want to focus on something smaller, like part of our body that we don’t’ like. It is always good to work out in a way that targets your whole body, but sometimes you might want to work on something that is really bothering you, or a point where you know you are very weak.
This is where targeted aerobics comes in.
Our upper bodies are things that we know we want to work on. Our arm muscles and the other areas located above our waists are often the things that we don’t like about ourselves, and this are often what we want to change. We all need strong arms and a strong upper body, because we have to do a lot of motion during the day. That is why strengthening your upper body is so important.
When you are trying to target your upper body, repetitions are the key. You want to move your body in a way that makes your muscles work. These should be moved and lifted over your head, and then put back down again, but you have to be sure that you are constantly repeating this movement.

You might not know it, but aerobics are going to be one of the best things you can do so that you can truly get healthier. If you can fill this time with aerobics, not only is it going to be beneficial for you, it is going to help you in more ways than simply your health.

This can be great, because aerobics are something that can work well for your whole body. But many people have an area of their body that they would like to target, and so it is sometimes good to target just a piece of you.
Our lower body can be something that we want to work on. Your legs and rear end are parts of you that have to be strong because they are what get you through each and every day. A lot of people don’t like the way that their legs or rear end look and want to change this by working out.
