2008-Sep-5 - Its been a Minute,Please Forgive but Read On...

What I am abo to tell you is 100% true and totally Wrong! I was alst online on Aug 14th or 15th. On my daughters Birthday Aug 9 I received a letter from my landload with a Legal Eviction paper in from that was writen up ny the "Shefeffs Department". I was told to be out by Aug 15th at 8 am, that was less than a week away.

I was totally fried, had no clu where I was goig or even where to begin as by law if you are eveicted you loose your "Section 8" Voucher. What saved me? The Landlard would not show his face. HUD cold not contact him and he was supose to contact hem 1st, not tak matters into his own hnds.

For days I went thining I had lost my voucher, I am awaiting a BIG Settlement on my Disability but that is still ways off. Which the money I ake oline is all there is and some months have hurt wit less than $50. I called Legal Aid, they would NOT take case as I had no receipts for where I had paid my rent. He wopuld NOT ACCEPT what Setion 8 has specified as my rent. So I had No Receipts. No Emergency Housing...all Program are for those that are able to work and that have lost a good job and their home but can return to the work force. I am unable to do that...this is my exent of what I am able to do.

Finally The Dam Broke!

Section 8 called me and said that due to the fact that the landlord had pulled a no show, plus did not contact them that there was even an issue regarding rent that I could pick up an Emergency Voucher Friday Morning (th 15th of Aug). We had found a place, not the ideal (as if he would of done this normally

 we would be livig in a home that is only 3 years old and very similar to my other house with a rent to buy option). This is place here though is nice, and i am wamng to it.

But can you imagine the pressure, I am sre some of you have been there. Anyway we have made it back online, having the ButterflyScript installed and I just purchased www.LaurieBrandt.com I plan to put my WorpPress Blog n it and transfer all date from here. So wothin a few weeks that is were I new Blog wil be at with many more options. I am working on Pluginsm color schemes so t all fits YSWs new look.
