Success…Health…Wealth…Power…Happiness…Freedom…

Read each word again, what feelings or emotions come to you as you read them?

Success…Health…Wealth…Power…Happiness…Freedom…

Really think about this for a minute or two and think about what it is you really want.

Maybe you would like to be successful; everything you have tried just never works out and you’re frustrated as hell from pulling your hair out. Wouldn’t it be nice to just be successful for once you may be thinking to yourself?

Or maybe you would give anything to lose that extra 20 pounds and be able to feel the vigorous energy of youth again. Quit smoking, over drinking and whatever vises you may have. You’d be turning heads as you walk down the street because you look so good.

Or could it be you just want your freedom again, to be able to never have to live by a schedule again. To quit your job, leave your business and live the lifestyle of your dreams.

Now here’s hypothetical question for you…

You’ve been granted one wish and one wish only. Whatever it is you wish for will absolutely come true for you instantly. You could wish to be successful, healthy, wealthy, powerful, happy or free but you can only pick one.

But, here’s the deal, you have 1 year in which to use that which was granted to you to grow your business to the point where you can walk away from it and it will continue to pay you enough passive income, every month, for the rest of your life to live the lifestyle of your dreams. The amount could be $5,000 a month, $50,000 a month or $1 million dollars a month…whatever it takes to live your ideal lifestyle.

If you do not accomplish this task, your wish will be taken away and everything you accomplished in that year will be reversed.

What would you wish for and how would you use it to accomplish the task?

Sure those are the dreams we supposedly all think about, right? But I submit that there are some important ones missing here. You see, none of us live in a vacuum. Whatever or whoever you think is responsible for, and the degree of crisis you think global warming is, it affects us all. We can have all of the health, wealth, success, power, happiness and freedom but if our collective lifestylss have our planet hurtling to the oblivion of all life — what are the others worth?
I believe that there are some words that I might think of as representing a better — and more realistic — set of choices. It could be argued that there is some overlap between my set of words and yours, and I’ll not deny that. But I think my set of words give an important perspective.
    Ready? Here we go.
Balance. Peace. Purpose. Meaning. Generosity. Appreciation. Forgiveness. Respect for others and the world. Love. Acceptance of the Inevitable (our own death). Familly. Friendship. Peace with one’s Maker. Fulfillment.
You see — the words you have chosen — and the words I have chosen do not have absolute meaning; and, additionally, I believe that those words may be achieved simply (or maybe not so simply) as a function of the state of mind. And, likewise, each can have it’s dark side, not unlike the iwshes granted in the story “The Monkey’s Paw” and, in the nonfiction world, the sad result of people who, for instance, gain windfall profits only to be broke and even bankrupt within 5 years. Such Laws of Unintended Consequences of the the man who won one of the largest lotteries only to wish he’d never won, when his beloved granddaughter, the apple of his eye, got involved in drugs and ended up, along with her fiance, dead.
Freedom, I believe, isn’t really what many people think. Many people think freedom is the ability to go and do whatever we want whenever we want. But wait — what is it that creaates the want? I recently worked on a sales letter for a technique that can give people the power to choose to overcome various kinds of limitations. In fact, I think there may be a few of these.
Wealth — when I was much younger I subscribed to a magazine about creating wealth . In fact, it showed the publisher’s own investments and allowed subscribers to look over the shoulder at this man’s wealth and wealth creating strategies. It caee with a book. And one of the first things it discussed in the book is that wealth is a state of mind. I am also reminded of a story about how Steve Wozniak, co-founder of Apple Computer, was once said to really be able to trust in the friendship of those who knew him before he became wealthy.
I could de-construct the rest of your words similarly.
But there is one characteristic that I think is worth noting. Those words are frequently thought of in terms of destinations. Let’s take your example of losing 20 pounds. A destination. Yet in fact, the problem with weight is not in losing a certain number of pounds. Fat people lose weight all the time. That’s nothing. The real struggle, the real “success”, is in keeping it off. And, in fact, if it’s a struggle it suggests that, ultimately there is something out of balance.
And that, ultimately, would be the word that most fully encompasses the one thing that I would want — and, indeed, would be the seed of satisfaction of any want and provide the means for self-sustenance. The word is — balance.

I didn’t really expect to respond to this. LOL . Well, there you are. An answer I hope is at least thought-provoking, if nothing else. :)

    By ebooks or ezines
    Or dropshipping locks

To plant them and leave them
    And watch them all grow
    And put to good use
    Everything that I know

    It’s not just for me
    But my sons 1 & 2
    Their college fees
And the things that they do

    Iv’e tried all my best
    To make it on line
    But it baffles me see
    Except eBay thats fine

    All I really need
    Is a system so easy
    That wont strees me out
Now that would really please me.

I would choose to become a person that attracts success. Jim Rohn says that sucess is not something to chase after, but rather it is to be attracted by the type of person you become.

I would want to be the best me I could possibly be – living out all of my potential. I think in that way I would excel in all areas of my life, as a mother, wife, business woman, friend and human being.

And I would be able to do my duty to God and fellow human beings.

    Success…Health…Wealth…Power…Happiness…Freedom…

Read each word again, what feelings or emotions come to you as you read them?

Well when I hear those words what comes to mind is success. Someone new they had a good idea and had the smarts and focus to make there idea a reality.

I think of old money (inherited money) like Henry ford, and new money (someone found there niche market.) like Bill Gates.

You see success, health, wealth, power, happiness and freedom is in the eye of the beholder. but for me if I was granted one wish that would come true for one year, it would be to have a product or service that the WORLD just can’t do without.

Success, health, wealth, power, happiness and freedom are all within us. The only problem is that the most of us do not know how to make contact with it. Although I have the support on one of my webstites with a course to succeed, I did block myself from recieving succes, wealth, and freedom.
To stop chasing success and learn how to attract it I learned from a personal development program called The Delfin Trilogy and the writer of it, Leslie Fieger, who you can be in online contact with. The beauty of it is that it gets involved in who you are, all what you do, also in what Jeremy Gislason offers you. It works in every part of your life.

  8. Marie Gervacio Says:

What is there without happiness? If I had only one wish it would have to be happiness. Happiness attracts health, wealth and success. Happiness is power (power without happiness equals one tortured soul). Let me show you a bit about the power of happiness and it all begins with a smile.

Studies show that smiles ignite chemical reactions in your body to lower blood pressure, improve immune system, take away pain, make you feel good and balance your mood. So being happy actually helps keep me healthy. Being healthy makes it possible to work and play as much as I want.

Smiles make people appear successful and draw other people in. Happiness is a magnet for good things. The positive energy caused by happiness is powerful and can cause me to be as successful as I want to be.

Happiness really is an empowering force. I can be happy in any environment of my choosing. Since I also believe in empowering others and sharing smiles… Since I believe in action speaking louder than words… I believe the power of happiness can liberate and free myself and anyone else who chooses to be happy and share smiles with others.

Many a successful person has not been happy. Many a wealthy person has not been happy. Many a free person has not been happy. Many a healthy person has not been happy. Many a powerful person has not been happy. But a person who chooses to be happy will attract any or all of the above if that is what fulfills their happiness.

  9. Michele Andree Lemieux Says:

If I only had one wish, I would choose wealth which ultimately leads to freedom. What better way to control the masses but to keep them in a state of survival and fear. While they are exhausting themselves to barely survive, those in power do what they please, forgetting who they work for and who pays their salaries and not the other way around. If I were wealthy, I could help others by teaching them how to get out from under. I could help those with wonderful ideas and projects make them happen. I could build schools, schools of thought… If I were wealthy, I would come up with a program on the Internet which would give those who cannot afford to start their own business, a way and the tools to start without spending and gradually reinvest as their business grows. For myself, I could finally just paint for the love of art and beauty.

Mystery Lady, summed it up beautifully.

I think for me serving others gives me much joy.
Seva is a sanskrit word which means self-less service. This is serving without condition, without expectation of recognition or reciprocation. This is the most pure form of service. When we give of ourselves with all of our hearts, just for the sake of giving this is when we do the most good.

Its when you truly give of yourself God give back 10 fold.

And Im living proof of it.

    Success…Health…Wealth…Power…Happiness…Freedom…
Before I opened this email, the idea of recognizing happiness 1. The good in things 2. the beauty around despite the problems 3. the things that are working despite issues.

The word Happy as we use it today means being at peace with our surroundings, being ambitiously content, being calmly observant to make use of what has been presented to me, being able to let the day develop without my muscle pushing constantly for what might be a sorry outcome. To move forward on my faith, to acknowledge and appreciate those who work around me, to develop generous tolerance.

If I develop happiness as inner contentment, then I will have wisdom to not let success be abusive, to not let wealth be mismanaged, to not destroy my health with worry and stress, I will be free no matter what the everyday politics.

I choose happiness and thank you for bringing the options to me.

  16. Nezrul Hisyam Says:

When I first read the hypothetical question, I have no doubt whatsoever in my mind about my choice.

    Why?

Because I’ve asked this question before.

Right now I’m typing the response from the comfort of my home at 12 in the morning. I’m not scared if the light from my house attract ‘unwanted’ guests. I hear the crickets ’sing’ not bombshell or bullets rain. I smell the refreshing night breeze. Not smoke from illegal factory.

I can decide to sleep when I want. I can woke up when I want. I’ve been living this way for the past 4 months…after my ex-company, Pfizer (M), handed me my VSS cheque.

I hear my family, my relatives, my friends, ex-collegues expressed their concern towards my ‘jobless’ condition. Heck! They never knew what they’ve missed.

I mean… I woke up every morning to the voice of my 10 months-old daughter. Not to the alarm clock like I used to. I see my wife’s slumber face dragging herself out of bed to the bathroom. She’s still on a job.

Hey… I’m with the people I want to be with (not some ‘toxic’ Bosses or ‘back-stabbing’ colleagues) where and when I want.

I hope if you read up to this line you get what I’m trying to say. It goes without saying that I choose FREEDOM above all. I love to be free.

No money. No friends. Nothing. It’s OK. As long as I’m free. And I’m doing all I could to keep it that way.

  17. Yvonne Gamache Says:

    Success…Health…Wealth…Power…Happiness…Freedom…

What would you wish for and how would you use it to accomplish the task?

Well, if you really look at the list, you could be happy without having much money, but to live here in the US, one needs to have wealth in order to have all of the other choices. Wealth = Successful to most people. Wealth = Healthy because of the costs of health care or the cost of living a healthy lifestyle … eating better cost more than eating poorly. Wealth = Power – it’s just a fact in this country. Wealth = Freedom – something that we all know intuitively, when you have money in the bank you don’t worry about getting up and going to work every day. So, that also leads to Wealth = Happy – happiness is the combination of all of the above ‘wants’ or ‘needs’.

Also, Wealth is a relative term. To someone who makes $15,000 a year, having $50,000 a year seems wealthy to them. To someone who makes $50,000 a year, making $150,000 a year seems wealthy to them. So, having said that, to me … right now, having $8000 per month would take care of all of my bills and leave me with about $4000 per month to grow a business.

So, let’s say I won a lottery ticket that pays me $8000 a month for the next 12 months and then stops. What would I do. I could be like a lot of everyday people and go crazy at the store, buying whatever I “thought” I wanted, and then at the end of the year have a lot of “stuff” and no more money.

I could bank the extra money in a savings account, which at the end of the year give me a balance of $48,000 and a few extra dollars for interest. Not a very good scenario, as it doesn’t give me much to live on for the rest of my life!

Or, I could invest that money into building a business. Ahhhh, there’s the question, now. What business? And how to go about it.

Well, since I already own a business, I could invest in it and be very busy but not have the lifestyle that I’m looking for, which is wealth, power, freedom, etc. (I do computer consulting)

But, now on the other hand, I do have a part time business that has that potential … it’s a network business that can give me what I would need for a wealthy lifestyle. It has the potential to give me or anyone else a 5 figure or more monthly income, so that is what I would spend the extra money and time on for the next year.

I would take that $4000 per month extra money and invest it into marketing and sharing the opportunity of this business and also the great service product that the business is allowing me to share. If I can do that, then at the end of 12 months, when the $8000 per month lottery winnings is gone, then I will have replaced that with a business that can have me obtaining $10,000 per month or more. (I’m projecting a $50,000 per month business, which is $600,000 per year.)

That is how you leverage the one wish into many wishes … having money allows you to have the freedom to be creative and send your energy into making more money, thus creating a true path to wealth and freedom for the rest of your life. I could continue to work this business part time, while getting residual income that keeps increasing as time goes by with more and more customers.

  18. Oludotun Osunsanya Says:

Well, well, well! The catch is in that you must use your one and only grant for only one year to provide for the rest of your life. I think the safest choice is God’s guidance;with it evry other thing becomes granted unto you; with it nothing can go wrong.

    Hi,

My name is Ronald Nzimora. I want to set up my own internet business so i can live my dreams through it. However i live in Nigeria, a country where it is preety hard to set up an online business because of internatinal restrictions on the country’s online activities.

I am working hard to overcome the challenges, just as Ladan lashkari who had a simlar problem to mine but came out tops did. And i am going to!

What would i wish for and how would i use it to accomplish the task?

My biggest wish is to get an internet marketing product that will show me A-Z what to do exactly to market my new website which i just set up. I actually want to get the product from

I will use it to expose my business so that with the proceeds, i can influence myself, my family and the world.

  20. Marge Berkeyheiser Says:

    Success…Health…Wealth…Power…Happiness…Freedom…
What will I have liked to accomplish at the end of a year. I guess the only real way to answer this question is one at a time.
Success will be measured by whom’s terms? You see I am already a sucess. I have raised 2 daughters basicly alone that have turned out to be a success in their own right. They give back to society each in their own feild or manner because they have been taught generousity begins at home.
I can no longer work due to health reasons but when when I did I had the respect of most of my peers, the jealousy of others, and the confidance of my bosses and customers. So I guess for as little education as I had I was somewhat of a success there also.
As for my success in the coming year I will put forth the effort that I always have and let God lead me.
Health as I have said I can no longer do the work that I have in the past but I am under Doctor’s care and have begun taking all natural products and the results are looking promising. If nothing else I have always been resourseful and will continue to do so. I do not expect a major healing In the next year but I think it may be less painful.
Wealth and what is wealth? Wealth of knowledge, money, power. I can tell you I grew up very poor so measured on those terms I am much wealthier now but I have a very small income. I have more than some and less than others.
The year ahead I am sure will be more prosperous than the past year.
Power is something I don’t need, want,or have any use for.
Happiness is something money can’t buy. Certainly money can take the strain off worry about bills, food and things but that is not happiness that is everyday life. Happiness you find in the really important things in life, like family and children and maybe just a nice summer day. Its whats around you that brings happiness. It’s thoughts or words,a smile, it’s giving of yourself. It’s being all you can be to bring joy to another person.
In the year ahead I will try to recognize happiness as in the past.
Freedom to me is a very special word. It has nothing to do with money or power. It has everything to do with our husbands or wives, sons or daughters, brothers or sisters, aunts or uncles that are dying every day in a land not their own. They have the unselfish duty of protecting this country and this country does not always treat them so nice for there efforts. Freedom by no means is free. The price has been paid with the color of red.
Freedom for the year ahead I would like to see not one more death.
To sum it all up I am sure this is not the answers you were looking for but to be honest you have to like who you are. I am at this moment in time where I am suppose to be. In a year from now I will have accomplished what I am suppose to at that point in time. I can only take one step at a time, one page at a time. But I will always be the sum of who I am.

  21. Liz Says:

    Success…Health…Wealth…Power…Happiness…Freedom…
My choice would be Wealth. For wealth covers all other choices.

I am rich with success, for without knowing anything about a web business or network marketing I was guided to sitesell.com who have given me the confidence to be successful and start my own womens home based business.

My freedom riches come from choosing a family lifestyle in my middle age years over corporate institutions. Having the ability to spend time with my parents and volunteering for community projects, sharing knowledge and resources.

I am rich because I know good people networks, and I am a SBIer. I am rich with happiness for I have a lovely family, close friends, and live in the beautiful country of Aotearoa.

Wealth is just not financial, there many ways one can be abundant. But I agree with a previous comment. Give and you will receive 10 fold.

    Take Care Everyone!!!

  22. Scott Says:

In my nearly two years of “dabbling” in this business, I feel I’ve learned a lot about internet marketing. I’ve learned enough to know what I need to do to get a successful internet business up and running. There are so many ways to make money online, my mind is always swimming with ideas for getting some site, product or viral technique going.

As we all know, the biggest problem most people have is that they fail to take action. We can only get out of anything what we put into it. I don’t have a problem with the ability or wherewithal to take action. What I don’t have is the time. Having a full time job, two little girls, and a wife who’s just gone back to school doesn’t leave much time for anything. Stolen minutes or an hour or two here and there is just not enough to really make a go of an online business.

So, my wish would be to have a year off my day job and enough time to take the action needed to get my online business up and running. That would of course include any resources needed, like software, hosting, learning materials, etc. If at the end of the year when the wish ends and I have to either go back to my day job, or survive on what I’ve built over the course of the year; I’m confident I wouldn’t be going back to my day job. I think I could actually do in less than a year.

  27. John Turner Says:

    Jeremy,

    Thank you for this opportunity.

Within the context of this exercise as I understand it, I believe
I would choose wealth. Since the degree of wealth is not specifically defined -just limited to one year in duration- I would express it this way:

My guaranteed instant wish would be for sufficient wealth to completely care for my family in every way, plus enough to fully fund my business start-up.

My complete focus would be laser-targeted on taking massive action to develop and begin execution of a winning business plan.

    1. I would hire the best Internet Marketing business consultants on the planet. Since time is limited, I would probably focus on working with one main hired mentor. In this case, I believe I would choose Stephen Pierce.

    2. Under the tutelage of Mr. Pierce, I will base all I do on accurate demographic and psychographic Niche data mining and current dynamic market intelligence. Being fully informed, I will know exactly what to do to, exactly how to do it, and precisely when!

    3. I would bring in the best copy writers [probably Mike Morgan and Michel Fortin], programmers, graphics designers, and then mobilize my team to a magnificently successful execution of the pre-launch and a seven figure launch week.

My business plan -and the project that will establish my team and my business as a major world-class player- with templated milestones and checkpoints will be complete out to ten years.

From the 12 month point forward, I’m confident that my business would be practically a self-sustaining entity, and I will be ready for development to the next level.

By enjoying total financial freedom through an abundant, growing, continuously improving business model; My family and I will enjoy the best of health care, the best of cutting-edge nutrition, hygiene and exercise resources to optimize our health and wellbeing. And, we’ll have ample time to enjoy our health and wealth together!

Thanks again for the opportunity to dream a little.

    To all –
    In all ways, always, SUCCESS!!!

  29. Leigh Says:

My choice would be none of the above.

All things originate with thought…. and then ACTION.

Without the ability to think, and then Action, Action, Action – well to be honest, nothing is going to happen.

Another important thing would be the ability to use past failures as stepping stones to success – everyone is going to fall, but the main thing is how quickly we get up, and what did we learn. We only ultimately fail when we don’t get up again.

So I stick with thought and action.

  30. ANTHONY C PASCIUTO Says:

HOW MUCH TO START FOLKS ??????????????????????????

  31. ANTHONY C PASCIUTO Says:

HOW MUCH TO GET STATRED GUYS????????????

  32. Dawn Says:

    FOCUS.

The ability to decide the next two or three steps I need to take.
The ability to take these steps. Quickly. Decisively.
The ability to completely shut out offers and other enticements that steal my energy and my ultra precious time.

I yearn for this ability and looking at the words you ask us to consider, I think SUCCESS is the one that contains FOCUS and then some.

Because not only would I be able to create the experience of having finished a project, the project would succeed (I know that right now, I have the information and tools to succeed), and I will for ever be able to re-create successful projects.

I would have taught ME to succeed.

And from there, the wealth and happiness and freedom would flow. With all of these flowing freely, I think health is easier to maintain. What do you think?

  33. Carmen Says:

My wish would be to become the kind of person who could have all of the above. I don’t believe that these things are external, that they are out of our control. I believe that a person can have all of the things you mentioned, but they have to have the mindset to accept these things into their lives. The idea that there is any kind of lack in the world is a falsiity. This may not appeal to some people, but I believe that every experience (good or bad) that I’ve ever had, was created by me, and the same applies to every other person. So I suppose my answer is: I wish to become the kind of person who could have all of these things.

And I agree with Leigh, the important thing is to learn from your failures, pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and keep going. There is no such thing as failure anyway. Only information.

  34. Peggy Shirrel Says:

    Success…Health…Wealth…Power…Happiness…Freedom…

Now look at those options – I would ask for Health since this is the only thing that is not in our control. All the others can be achieved if we work hard towards being successful, we will have the wealth we desire. Power is overrated and should never be a necessity. Happiness and the freedom to do what we want will be our reward for our hard work.

    Y’all have a great day;-)

  35. Dr Hein Lambrechts Says:

If you choose success, you cannot fail, so this option is a bit unfair.
If you choose wealth, you already obtained your goal, which is not fair either.
If you choose health, you choose something very important in your life, but that will not guarantee your success.

What is left ? Power, happiness and freedom.

We all are “relatively” free in the world, so that will not be my option as well. So, my big choice comes down to happiness or power.

Power is nothing more than FEAR ON STERROIDS.
I don’t believe in FEAR, as it is a product of the EGO and not of the soul.
With power you can never gain anything that will be of permanent nature.

    My choice is definitely HAPPINESS.
By being happy, you experience a high vibration of energy. According to the Universal laws (especially the LOA), you attract more of the same.
Thsi indicates that you are going to attract more circumstances of the same, i.e. happiness.

By being happy, you are going to attract other similar high energy vibrations, like success and wealth (so, even though I didn’t choose it, I will actually still get it).
    Happiness is freedom.

To conclude – Happiness is my choice, because it will result in giving me all of the other.

NS: Some of the replies are very negative. As individuals, we cannot change the whole world. You have to do your best in your own reality and you will automatically attract better things and a better world. If all people can get more positive, the world will change to be the better place that everybody wants.

    With excitement and love !!

My wish to live my life with health wealth and power but i can see you can acheive health and power with wealth. And would like to live my dream life that is live free and be able to do whatever i would want to do.That can also be achieved with wealth.

With wealth you can do also do charity work wich will not make u feel guilty for living a lavish life and will bring you good karma.

Woould love to be wealthy and even if i suffer or not happy i still damn be living comfotable life and could always find better way to pass the time better.

Wealth can bring you Hapiness for sure But health is upto God but u be more healthier than now for sure if you will not let the wealth play with your mind and take over life.Use it wisely and stay simple, humble and keep God in your in heart.Cuase if GOds in your heart yoou will always thiink positive and will improve your life for better.Just have the balance of good times and bad times.

Wealth is not bad greed of money is bad when u have enuf money to live comfortably stop the greed and be giving.

That will make the World around you be a better place and certainly make you Happy cause you would have done your enough to earn your Happy life.

  37. Mel Says:

Guess it depends on the definition or interpretation you put on the words.

    I choose Success.

    Absolutely.

Because if I am successful in each step I take I will create the residual income.

Because if I am incrementally successful in creating wealth health happiness and power I’ll have freedom.

And we want it all, ultimately, don’t we?

  38. Ron Says:

    Hi Ron here :-)
Wow some very deep posts here hahah
for me i would chose health ill not bore you with why
But if i were to wish a real wish it may sound corney
    It would have to be…….
I wish my children had all of them please
for without them in my heart i would be nothing
    take care all
i wish you all what you wish for yourselves

  39. Michael Broderick Says:

I know I am late for this contest but,

If I were granted only one wish what would I want?

    Success…Health…Wealth…Power…Happiness…Freedom…

I’d want it all. You couldn’t have one without the other to have a more fulfilling life.

    success goes with freedom,

    wealth goes with power.

And you can’t be happy if you’re not healthy.

I had to really think about my answer today. Thank you.

  40. Dick Pennington Says:

Success, Health, Wealth, Power and Happiness are all worthless unless you have a life full of Love. Each one is goal when you are young, but as you age you realize they are unimportant in the end, all that you leave behind, and can take with you is Love!
