I have not yet read this book, but what impressed me most about Andrew Carnegie is that he almost single-handedly founded the public library system because he believed that every person should have access to books.

As an avid reader from early childhood, and a person who has taken advantage of the public library system for over 40 years, it's my opinion this is one of the greatest services ever to have been given to the people of the United States. i hope people will continue to take advantage of this wonderful gift.
