Marketing Main Event 4 – Here’s What You Could Do Too…

Friday, July 17th, 2009

Over the coming months I’m going to start offering free silver memberships to ten brand new sites to all my readers…

I’ll use these very cool free passes to incentivize my newsletter subscriptions and build a bigger list

I’ll use them to add value to my other products as special bonuses and increase my sales %’s and make even more cash!

I’ll lower my refund rates by using them as ‘unnanounced’ bonuses to customers -

Then when people join my sites they’ll get access to great reports, audios and video and even more cool bonuses

But I get to make a TON of cash too…

You see everyone who joins the sites will be offered gold level memberships -

If they upgrade I’ll pocket hundreds, or perhaps thousands of $37 payments directly into my PayPal account

If they don’t upgrade right away, no worry because in place is a series of follow up messages written to encourage them to do it (but this time it will be at $67 from their member’s area.)

Imagine how I’ll feel seeing a steady stream of $67 payments flowing regularly into my already busting at the seems PayPal account.

But really I’m just getting started here…

Because inside those member areas I have my banner ads rotating, each will be pointing to my affiliate links or to other offer pages (I expect those to make a lot more sales!)

And you know what? – Even if members don’t click on those ads I’LL make cash because inside each site will be a growing selection of recommended products, services and tools.

And all of them have my ClickBank ID embedded so I’ll make plenty of easy commissions

Even when someone logs out of their account I’m going to be driving that traffic to my other sites because I set exactly where I want to send them once they leave the site.

Yes it’s a perfect system – I can’t lose!

Oh and while you’re reading this (I almost forgot to mention it)

You see I’m even happier about this because while other site owners are working their tails off – I won’t be…

Because I won’t have to support any of those members (not me! – I’ll be to busy working out what to spend my money on) someone else will take care of it for me

And this makes it so sweet – You see I didn’t create any of the member content – (To be honest with you I didn’t lift a finger!)

And while I’m out spending my cash someone else will be working hard to select products to recommend to my members and make money for me whether I even bother switching on my PC or not…

I could make Tim Ferriss’s ’4 Hour Work Week’ look like a book about an awful lot of work :-)

- I build my list
- I increase my product sales
- I reduce refunds
- I make a lot of cash

Pretty cool eh?

NOW WHY AM I TELLING YOU ALL THIS?
= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =
.
.
.
.
.
.

Actually all I’m doing is suggesting what *YOU* will be able to tell your friends the next time you see them

When they ask what you’re looking so happy about!

In fact I recommend you save this email so you can copy all the text above ready to mail it to someone the next time they ask you for the secret behind your online success…

Be the guy or gal they’re jealous of

==> http://www.MarketingMainEvent4.com

(But don’t leave it too long or they’ll be the ones telling it to you…)

Right now you can pick up a Marketing Main Event 4 membership and get the resell licenses to an instant network of *5* professionally created membership sites for less than it would cost you to hire a ghostwriter to write up one special report…

It’s not peanuts – but it is INCREDIBLE VALUE

And you can start today and spread the cost over the next few months

Take a look:

Imagine what this is going to do for your business and your lifestyle

MME4 will help save you months of time, tens of thousands of dollars in set up costs and it’s right there waiting for you

How To Make Profitable Decisions

Tuesday, March 31st, 2009

“People who fail to accumulate money without exception have the habit of reaching decisions, if at all, very slowly, and changing these decisions quickly and often.”
-Napoleon Hill

In “Think and Grow Rich,” Mr. Hill goes on to say that people who fail to accumulate money often base their decisions on popular culture and what others think rather than thinking for themselves. In order to turn your desire into money – you must possess desire.  If you’re basing your decisions on the desires of others then wealth will most certainly not be the result.

However, with a few key characteristics, you can make decisions that will support your desire and lead you on the path to wealth.

5 Characteristics of Profitable Decision Making

1. Faith
2. Courage
3. Clarity
4. Good counsel
5. Planning and Action

Faith

Faith is one of those words which inspire an emotional response. Some may roll their eyes – tired of hearing about faith and spirituality as it has become one of the most prevalent topics in mainstream media.  Others may gulp back emotion because they feel a connection to something bigger, something larger than themselves and the word ‘faith’ grips them at their core.  Finally, some folks may feel a bit of fear as it relates to faith because we tend to judge ourselves and we have doubt.  Do we have enough faith?  Do we believe in the ‘right’ things?

Faith doesn’t have to be in something larger than you.  If it is, great, but if not if you’re unsure what you believe in and how much then it is enough to have faith in yourself and your abilities.

You are enough.  Your skills, knowledge, and abilities are enough for you to attain all that you desire.  If nothing else, have faith in that. Your decisions, when based in faith in yourself, as opposed to doubting yourself, will be significantly more appropriate, productive, and more effective decisions.  Decisions that will lead to lasting wealth.

Courage

“Whenever you see a successful business, someone once made a courageous decision”
-Peter Drucker

Courage is about having the decision to make decisions you think are right despite what others may say, think or do.  In our history there have been many famous people who have made courageous decisions that have gone against the grain.  Think about Rosa Parks who decided not to give up her seat on the bus. That took amazing courage and conviction.

However, beyond civil rights issues every single business person from Lisa Blakely who wouldn’t take no for an answer and just knew her hemmed pantyhose, now known as Spanx, would be a hit to Jack Canfield and Mark Victor Hansen who were both motivational speakers and decided to ask others for their stories because they knew deep down that people wanted and needed to hear them and now have a Chicken Soup for the Soul empire.

Regardless of your niche, industry, or desire conviction and courage are essential for making effective decisions.

Courage is linked very tightly with faith because in order to have courage you must also have faith.  However, you can have faith and still hesitate to make the decisions you need to make, to take the steps and the risks you need to take, to achieve your goals.

Clarity

It’s easy to let others affect or influence our decisions.  We hear

- You Can’t
- You Shouldn’t,
- You’re Crazy,
- Are You Sure
- I’m Not Sure That’s A Great Idea

around every corner.  Everyone has their opinion and while it may be worth your time to hear their opinion, you certainly don’t have to listen to it nor let it influence your decision.  Clarity is defined as freedom from obscurity or easy to understand.

So how do you find clarity?  How do you clear out external influences and make decisions based on what you know to be true?

Meditation is a great way to set aside external influences and focus on making the right decisions for you.  Allow yourself to get quiet and listen.  And when in doubt, seek the advice of those who support and respect you.

Good Counsel

While it’s important to set aside external influences, one of the key ingredients to attaining great wealth is to have good counsel. Napoleon Hill talks at length about the power of mastermind groups.  These are groups of people who get together to support each other, to challenge each other, and to become a source of infinite intelligence.  Name one person you admire and chances are they’ll name ten people who helped them get where they are.

Mr. Hill defines a mastermind group as coordination of knowledge and effort in a spirit of harmony between two or more people for the attainment of a definite purpose.

This means your counsel can be likeminded business people, family members, friends and associates.  All that is required is that they gather in an effort to support you and to help you attain your goals.

If you’re unable to find clarity though quiet contemplation, you can embrace your counsel and ask them for their knowledge and experience.  However, remember that at the heart of all decisions still lies with you.  Your decisions have to be true to you to be effective and productive.

Planning and Action

“Presence is more than just being there.”
-Malcolm S. Forbes

A decision is completely ineffective if it’s left to collect dust.  In order for a decision to have any effect on your future you must plan and take action.  Once you’ve made a decision, don’t set it aside.  Doing so will only negate the power of the decision.  Instead, take action.  Begin immediately to plan how to implement your decision and how to take action.

You have the knowledge and you have the skills and imagination to reach your goals.  You’ve done the research and have gathered specialized knowledge.  You know you have the desire to make it happen and you certainly know where to find the faith and the courage.  You have all the tools you need to make profitable and effective wealth attaining decisions.

Your next step is to go out and make them happen!

Grow your decisions into tangible action steps and attaining your desires is within reach.

Is it Time for A Clean Slate?

Friday, February 13th, 2009

“Do not worry if you feel low; the sun has a sinking spell every night, but rises again all right the next morning.”
-Anonymous

Have you ever just wanted to start over?  To wipe out the past, or even the present, and begin again?  Do you ever feel like if you could just start over in some area of your life, you’d be able to attain the wealth and success you desire?  The lure of a clean slate is a strong one.

It’s a powerful concept yet one that seems impossible to achieve.  I mean, you can’t really start over, can you?  Perhaps, with the right information, tools, and attitude, you actually can.

What Is A Clean Slate?

A clean slate means all past history is wiped away.  It often has both negative and positive connotations.  For example a divorce, a potentially negative experience, can result in a do-over when it comes to relationships which are a freeing experience. You get to start with a clean slate. Financially, a clean slate may mean that all your debt is paid off or forgiven and you get to start over.

An emotional clean slate gives you the ability to look at things from a fresh perspective

A physical clean slate, starting over financially, paying off debt, reinvesting, gives you the power to look at the future, not the past.

A clean slate means:

No judgment
No hindrances or false conceptions
A fresh perspective
A positive outlook
Rebirth

How You Can Get A Clean Slate?

A clean slate can be accomplished by exploring where you are right now and asking some questions.

What’s holding you back?  Think about the things in your life that are preventing you from achieving what you desire most.  Is it a skill or education? Is it time?  Is it money?  What is holding you back?  Write down what is holding you back and spend some time thinking about why it’s holding you back.  Perhaps you’re giving this circumstance more control than it should have.

What do you complain about?  Often the things we complain about are the things that are limiting us either emotionally or physically.  For example, if you’re often complaining about finances then that may be where you need to focus your problem solving skills, beliefs, and attention to wiping the slate clean.

What do you wish were true?  This is key to focus on this ‘wish’ and eliminate the barriers.  That may mean taking some time to contemplate what exactly is preventing you from achieving your goals and then creating a plan to wipe the slate clean.

“The starting point of all achievement is desire. Keep this constantly in mind. Weak desires bring weak results, just as a small amount of fire makes a small amount of heat.”
Napoleon Hill

What’s preventing you from taking action?  Fear?  Finances?  Time?  There are many reasons, and excuses, for not taking action.  Write down what is preventing you and then create a plan to eliminate these or overcome these hurdles and start taking action.  This of course may mean wiping the slate clean.  We’ll take a look at how to accomplish this in the next section of this article.

Taking Action To Wipe The Slate Clean

What Resources Do You Have Access To?

“No one lives long enough to learn everything they need to learn starting from scratch. To be successful, we absolutely, positively have to find people who have already paid the price to learn the things that we need to learn to achieve our goals.”
-Brian Tracy

Often, in order to attain a fresh start, we need help.  Mentors, mastermind groups, coaches and even spiritual guides can be exactly what you need to set the past behind you and focus on the future.

Therapists and counselors can also help wipe the slate clean.  Dr Joe Vitale talks about a Hawaiian cleansing process called Ho’oponopono and there are other modalities, like EFT and hypnosis, designed to accomplish the same cleansing process.

What Rituals Can You Do To Symbolize A Clean Slate?

Sometimes a simple ritual can help you attain an emotional or mental clean slate.  For example, people often use New Year’s Eve as the beginning point for a fresh new year and a clean slate.

Many religions and cultures use burning as a symbolic gesture- “burning the negative things from the past year” ritual.

In Japan, to start fresh, people clean the house, pay off all debts, and clear all obligations before the New Year. They throw “bounenkai” or forget-the-year parties.

People take cleanse or fast in order to start their health over with a clean slate.

Smudging is the Native American ritual of burning sage and cedar to exorcise bad energy and invite good energy into a home.

In Rome, Italy there was a tradition of throwing large household items out of the window on New Year’s Eve in anticipation of getting a better one.  You might want to make sure no one is in danger of getting whomped by your couch before you toss it out the window!

What Tools Do You Have Access To?

Part of wiping the slate clean is planning how you can accomplish it.  For example, if you determine that your financial state, debt, is preventing you from approaching your dreams with all the energy and focus you need, then you will need to plan how you can wipe your financial slate clean.

That may mean taking out a consolidation loan, getting a second job and setting a time frame to pay off your debt, launching a new promotion designed to generate the income you need to start fresh.  As you’re planning, take into account the tools and resources you have to help you.

Whether you need to wipe the slate clean emotionally, mentally or physically, wiping it clean is entirely possible.  It’s a powerful process which can help you gain the focus and attitude you need to achieve your goals.  When you feel as if you have a fresh start, it enables you to focus on the present and the future and to let go of the past.  Desire, when it is free from limitations, has no limits to what it can achieve.

Wealth Creation Power of Gratitude

Thursday, January 29th, 2009

Do you have an attitude of gratitude?

There’s been a lot of focus both in the media, at the water cooler and at the family dinner table about the terrible financial loss people have been dealing with. Jobs have been declining at an incredible rate. The bureau of labor statistics reported In December, the number of unemployed persons increased by 632,000 to 11.1 million and the unemployment rate rose to 7.2 percent.

Some people have lost more than 50% of their IRA and 401K savings and no one, even if you have a terrific credit score, we’re talking more than 720, are having a difficult time accessing credit.

All this is understandably disturbing. It has stricken fear into the hearts of Americans and citizens worldwide. Suddenly everything we’ve taken for granted is gone. This loss of security has affected even those who have yet to really suffer any financial loss. We’re all left with a lot of questions and an abundance of uncertainty.

With all of this unfortunate news there is one thing you can do to regain your security, to regain your control, and to get started on a path to even greater wealth and abundance.

Gratitude.

Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos into order, confusion into clarity…. It turns problems into gifts, failures into success, the unexpected into perfect timing, and mistakes into important events. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today and creates a vision for tomorrow.”
-Melodie Beattie

The first steps of Gratitude and Wealth Creation

Gratitude is an emotion. It’s recognizing and feeling appreciative of what you have. Now this can be difficult if you’re losing money at a record rate, if you’re in debt, and if you’re at risk or have lost your job. No matter where you are financially, even if you’re at the very bottom, there is always something to be grateful for. Are you breathing? Do you have someone who loves you? Do you have food on your table? Do you have job? Do you have skills, abilities, and knowledge unique to you? Do you have your health? There is always something to be grateful for and the first step to wealth creation is to recognize what you do have and to be grateful for it.

When you look at what you do have rather than what you do not have it changes your perspective. It gives you power, hope, and strength to look at your present and your future differently.

Focusing on what you don’t have or what you have lost doesn’t change or solve anything. You still don’t have it. However focusing on what you do have changes everything. It gives you the ability to make plans for the future. To grow what you presently have, even if it is only your breath.

Feeling Gratitude is Profitable

Napoleon Hill, author of the esteemed and widely read “Think and Grow Rich,” speaks of gratitude as a way to overcome your fears. Overcoming your fears is imperative to attain great wealth.

It’s easy to know you’re supposed to be grateful, to say thank you for what you have however feeling gratitude is another thing altogether. Spiritual and financial experts often recommend keeping a gratitude journal. Write down what you’re grateful for. Make a routine out of it and document your gratitude every day, perhaps at the end of the day as you’re getting ready for bed or first thing in the morning.

While this type of gratitude experience is a great start, it is not enough.

Journaling can easily become another task. “I have to write down 5 things I’m grateful for before I go to bed,” doesn’t inspire actually feeling grateful.

In order to achieve the kind of effects, the power of gratitude, you must feel grateful down to your core. Every cell in your body needs to sing “THANK YOU.” This requires quiet contemplation.

Think about what you’re grateful for and why. If you’re grateful for the food on your plate, why are you grateful for it? Who are you grateful to? What does having food on your plate right now mean to you?

When you’re grateful down to your core this type of gratitude becomes a way of life. It affects everything you do, every decision you make, and how you interact. If you believe the law of attraction then you know that you attract more of what you focus on and when your heart is singing thank you, you’ll attract more of what you want into your life.

Expressing Gratitude Is Profitable

It’s important to note that as you’re building a business, gratitude plays a critical role in how your customers and prospects relate to you. This goes beyond saying a quiet thank you for your customers and actually thanking them.

The Psychology of Consumer Behavior by, Carey, Clicque, Leighton, & Milton, 1976, showed that when customers of a jewelry store were called and thanked they showed a 70% increase in purchases. This was compared to customers who were not called at all and customers who were thanked and then notified about a promotion. Simple gratitude goes a long way toward boosting business profits and increasing wealth.

The same concept is embraced by restaurant servers who write a simple “Thank you” on the bill – they receive larger tips. Think about that big tip jar on the counter at your local coffee shop. Are you more likely to put a dollar in there if it says “Thank you” or if it says “God is watching you,” or even if it says nothing at all? A big “Thank you” goes a long way.

So how can you thank your current customers?
Send them a letter.
Send them a personal email
Give them a call
Give them something for free
Recognize them on your website, blog, or newsletter

We’re all in this world together. Understanding that, appreciating, that and expressing gratitude not only for your customers but for everything you have in life is the first step toward receiving all that you desire. It’s more than having a glass half full attitude, though that is a super start; it’s about sharing that attitude with everyone around you.

We’re drawn to people who are positive, who are grateful, and who appreciate us and what they have. Instead of focusing on what you don’t have or what you’ve lost, use the power of gratitude to build on what you do have. You’ll be grateful for the results.

a wise and caring person once said….

People are often unreasonable, illogical, and self-centered;
Forgive them anyway.
If you are kind, People may Accuse you of Selfish, Ulterior motives;
Be kind anyway.
If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true enemies;
Succeed anyway.
If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you;
Be Honest and Frank anyway.
What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight;
Build anyway.
If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous;
Be happy anyway.
The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow;
Do good anyway.
Give the world the best you have,
and it may never be enough;
Give the world the best you’ve got anyway.
You see, in the final analysis,
it is between you and God;
It was never between you and them anyway.
