350% increase in conversions?
Wednesday, May 16th, 2012Proven Conversion Formulas for Higher Profits
While everyone else has been letting the ‘economy’ get the best of them, we’ve been having one of our best years ever so far
You see, rather than complain about things and give someone else ‘control’ we’ve been blazing our own path online for over 10 years now with much success
(even during this ‘global recession’)
In fact while many other businesses online & offline are downsizing or closing up shop all together we’ve been steadily increasing our sales & profits.
2011 was a stellar year and 2012 is looking to be an even better one for us cause we’ve not been afraid of testing & changing
Here’s something interesting…
Did you know that the average conversion rate for an online sales page or ecommerce website is typcially less than 3%?
In fact, many people we’ve talked to and also from statistics we’ve read have said people are happy getting 1% conversions thinking that is pretty normal
So if you’re getting 4% – 5% conversions, you’re considered to be doing fantastic!
Well…
What if we told you we’re not happy unless we’re getting at least 5%-10%+ conversions (it’s true)
Of course all that depends on the prices too
Just so you know, we’ve sold products at – $2500 as well as $10 with 10% conversions – $497 as well as $10 with 2% conversions – $97 as well as $10 with 0% conversions
We’ve processed hundreds of thousands of sales transactions across hundreds of products sold over the past decade
We’ve literally got telephone book thick manuals full of stats and notes taken over the years if we printed it all out.
What have we learned from all our testing?
LOTS! if you’d like to get ahold of our test results, we put it all into a video based course called: ‘Revenue Redemption’
Use this link for more in depth videos on it:

Let’s just do a little experiment here to see how savvy your marketing skills are
as a vendor selling a product with a goal to make $30k a month…you have additional cross sells at $97, $497 & $997
for your front end product would you rather have
a) 10 customers pay you $1000
b) 100 customers pay you $100
c) 1000 customers pay you $10
Good question right?
If you’re a beginner you might have said (a) thinking it’s easier to get 10 sales than 1000 sales right? maybe – maybe not
What happens if 2 people ask for a refund? You now have a 20% refund rate and only $8k left.
You then only have 8 customers on your mailing list for upsells & cross sells so it’d be darn near impossible to hit your $30k target with those numbers
So, if you’ve been in business awhile you probably said (b) cause that would give you 100 people to sell additional products to later and would be considered more qualified by having already paid $97.
maybe…maybe not…
But what most people don’t realize is it’s just as easy to get 1000 people to pay you $10 and get 100 of them to pay you $97 then get 10 of them to pay you $1000 later.
So by picking (c) you’d actually make more revenue in the long run & of course have a much bigger customer base eventually.
But the part that gets most people stuck in a rut is thinking they can only achieve 1%-2% conversion rates so in order to get 1000 customers you’d need 100,000 visitors right?
Right…if you’re conversions suck that is
But if you’re conversions were say 10% then you’d only need 10,000 visitors to get 1000 customers. (just halve that again with 20%)
And those 1000 customers could be just as easily paying $97 instead of $10 as well if you know what you’re doing (or have gone over the Revenue Redemption video course)

That means less is actually more
Less traffic = more customers & higher profits because you have better conversions
(bet most ‘gurus’ are not telling you this!)
Some of our upsells get as high as 72% conversions even!
if you just said ‘wtf!?’ don’t worry, so did we when we first started getting successful results from our testing.
So how would you like to be getting 10%, 15% or even over 20% conversions on your front end offers or affiliate promotions?
